Quality Dental Care Thanked

quality-dental-care-preventive-dentistryThis blog post has been authored to express my thanks to Quality Dental Care, PC and Dr. Ennabi for supporting iPredator Inc.’s internet safety for kids initiatives. Not only has Dr. Ennabi been my dentist for the last fifteen years, and has a team that is bar none in New York, but he is the first dentist I’ve met that understands the importance of cyber attack prevention and pediatric internet safety. Each time I sit in his dentist’s chair, Dr. Ennabi and all Quality Dental Care associates ask about internet safety, social media safety and the cybercriminal minds of iPredators. I am honored to be their patient. With their permission, provided below is a brief introduction to Quality Dental Care, PC and Dr. Ennabi. Thank you for caring about children of the Information Age.

As stated by CEO Bart Panessa, “No one can deny we now live in the Information Age whereby information technology is now in every American child’s hands. It is for this reason that internet safety for kids must become a priority.”

I cannot express my appreciation enough to Goliath Labs and Mr. Panessa. Although I have not been paid to endorse their dietary supplements, sports nutrition products or exercise equipment, I am a loyal customer. I am a personal user of their protein powder called Isolate Protein. Their whey protein has been part of my daily diet for the last two years. CU Boulder Thanked by Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D.

This writer, Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D., would like to take this opportunity to thank the University of Colorado Boulder for allowing him to present his iPredator construct to their psychology pre-doctoral interns. Since authoring iPredator in 2010, this is the first time a university, CU Boulder, has requested this writer to educate their graduate students about his Information Age dark side of human consciousness concept. Thank you CU Boulder and Dr. Vera. This writer is honored by this event and views it as the first step to encouraging all academic institutions to address the dark side of cyberspace and the importance for all online users to practice internet safety.

Prior to his telephonic presentation, the pre-doctoral interns watched the award winning documentary called “Thought Crimes: The Case of the Cannibal Cop”. “Thought Crimes” is an excellent documentary for those wanting to learn about the dark psychology involved when using Information and Communications Technology (ICT). After watching the documentary, this writer introduced his construct and it’s sub-tenets. ODDOR, Dark Psychology and the role of fantasy, anonymity and the Reality Virtuality Continuum were discussed.

In addition to thanking CU Boulder, this writer would like to thank Olga Vera, Ph.D. for scheduling this training. Dr. Vera and this writer have also joined forces to encourage other academic institutions and professional organizations to educate their constituents about staying safe online. Furthermore, Dr. Vera has given this writer permission to post her letter of thanks so that our internet safety volunteers know they also have been recognized for their hard work. Provided below are the definitions of iPredator, Information Age Wellness and Information Age Education.

michael-nuccitelli-psy.d.-university-colorado-boulder-training

“iPredators revel in targeting the LGBT community, discouraged children, the internet safety ignorant, racial minorities, the physically/mentally disabled and anyone else they deem vulnerable. Once an iPredator assesses an individual or group as an easy target, cyber attacks soon follow”. Olga Vera, Ph.D. (2015)

Information Age Education (IAE)

Information Age Education (IAE) is a cyber attack prevention paradigm offering a solution to reducing the negative consequences of living in the Information Age. The Information Age and information technology present positive and negative influences upon humanity in which the negative aspects seem to be growing at a feverish pace. IAE prioritizes prevention education, non-denominational family values and humility as solutions to connecting the disconnected, educating the ignorant and conquering the corrupt (iPredator).

An integral component in the goal of slowing the trajectory of the societal disconnection process is the active participation of educational systems, religious organizations, service organizations and positive pro-social public figures. Although it is impossible for any person, group or nation to be absolutely insulated from being cyber attacked or targeted for nefarious and malevolent reasons, the odds and probability thereof can certainly be reduced by Information Age Education (IAE).

Information Age Wellness (IAE)

Information Age Wellness is defined as the practice and study of how Information and Communications Technology (ICT) influences people’s physical, psychological, perceptual and spiritual well-being. By incorporating safe and productive practices, citizens and their loved ones of the Information Age are both safer from cyber attacks and able to focus on mind, body & spiritual optimization endeavors. Information Age Wellness incorporates mind, body, spirit and information technology for those seeking a healthy lifestyle. In essence, Information Age Wellness is a combination of Internet Safety, Spirituality, Integrative Medicine & Health Psychology while recognizing the growth and dependency of information technology upon people.

Information Age Wellness explores how information technology influences people’s physical, psychological, perceptual and spiritual well-being in relationship to self-preservation and humility. By incorporating safe and productive online practices, citizens reduce sensing perceptual disconnectedness by focusing on mind, body & spiritual endeavors fostering social engagement. Information Age Wellness views the mind, body, spirit and technology as a new homeostatic system capable of optimization.

iPredator

iPredator: A person, group or nation who, directly or indirectly, engages in exploitation, deception, victimization, coercion, stalking, theft or disparagement of others using Information and Communications Technology (ICT). iPredators are driven by deviant fantasies, desires for power and control, retribution, religious fanaticism, political reprisal, psychiatric illness, perceptual distortions, peer acceptance or personal and financial gain. iPredators can be any age or gender and are not bound by economic status, race, religion or national heritage.

iPredator is a global term used to distinguish anyone who engages in criminal, coercive, deceptive, manipulative, deviant or abusive behaviors using ICT. Central to the construct is the premise that Information Age criminals, deviants and the violently disturbed are psychopathological classifications new to humanity. Whether the offender is a cyberbully, cyberstalker, cyber harasser, cybercriminal, online sexual predator, cyber terrorist, internet troll, online child pornographer/distributor or engaged in nefarious online deception, they fall within the scope of iPredator. The three criteria used to define an iPredator include:

  • A self-awareness of causing harm to others, directly or indirectly, using ICT.
  • The usage of ICT to obtain, tamper with, exchange and deliver harmful information.
  • A general understanding of Cyberstealth used to engage in criminal or deviant activities or to profile, identify, locate, stalk and engage a target.

Unlike human predators prior to the Information Age, iPredators rely on the multitude of benefits offered by Information and Communications Technology (ICT). These assistances include exchange of information over long distances, rapidity of information exchanged and the seemingly infinite access to data available. Malevolent in intent, iPredators rely on their capacity to deceive others using ICT in the abstract and artificial electronic universe known as cyberspace. Therefore, as the internet naturally offers all ICT users anonymity, if they decide, iPredators actively design online profiles and diversionary tactics to remain undetected and untraceable.

Cyberstealth, a sub-tenet of iPredator, is a covert method by which iPredators attempt to establish and sustain complete anonymity while they engage in ICT activities planning their next assault, investigating innovative surveillance technologies or researching the social profiles of their next target. Concurrent with the concept of Cyberstealth is iPredator Victim Intuition (IVI). An iPredator’s IVI is their aptitude to sense a target’s ODDOR (Offline Distress Dictates Online Response), online & offline vulnerabilities, psychological weaknesses, technological limitations, increasing their success of a cyber-attack with minimal ramifications.

“Malevolent in intent, iPredators rely on their capacity to deceive others using information technology in the abstract and artificial electronic universe known as cyberspace. Therefore, as the internet naturally offers all ICT users anonymity, if they decide, iPredators actively design online profiles and diversionary tactics to remain undetected and untraceable.” Michael Nuccitelli Psy.D. Flory Corp. Donation Thanked

This writer, Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D., of iPredator Inc. would like to formally thank Flory Corp. for their kind donation for operating expenditures. Their timely donation will be used for site updates, legal expenses and internet safety educational initiatives. In addition to their charitable donation, Flory Corp. disseminates cyberbullying and internet safety for kids educational information both offline and online. Although Flory Corp. is involved in other entrepreneurial ventures, Flory’s use their convenience stores as vehicles to educate the community. To express your appreciation for Flory’s helping to educate online users, be sure to visit there stores.

Flory Corp. is a New York State based family owned business operating all-in-one gas stations, convenience stores & delis throughout the Hudson Valley. With stores in Hopewell Junction, Mahopac & Fishkill, they are located minutes from the Taconic State Parkway & Rte. 9. Flory establishments offer Mobil fuels, quality delis serving fresh cold cuts, hot lunches and convenience store products. Flory’s pride themselves as having spotless rest rooms, fast service, gourmet style foods & competitive prices.

The addresses to their store locations are attached in the following image available to download and save. Simply click on the image and save to your chosen device. Although known for their fried chicken, this writer’s personal favorite is either their penne vodka or Italian sausage with peppers & onions. To say thank you to Flory’s for supporting iPredator Inc. operations, visit their stores and if not living or working in the New York metropolitan area, visit their social sites pasted here and give them a +1, like or Thank You.

This writer was truly surprised when receiving Flory’s donation, given iPredator Inc. has never solicited other businesses for funds to help defer operating expenses. As stated above, Flory’s donation will be immediately funneled to website and blog updates, recent and upcoming legal expenses and ongoing internet safety initiatives focused on educating young children and their parents about online safety. Although WordPress and GoDaddy combine to make iPredator, Dark Psychology & Dr. Internet Safety excellent resources for site visitors, the administration and fees involved to ensure they load fast and cyber secure with responsive designs for mobile devices can be costly.

From a legal expenditure standpoint, few Americans would disagree with reality that America has become a litigious society. Spending time in civil courts, engaged in suing business for inane reasons, have become commonplace until America commits to national Tort Reform. Given this unfortunate reality, Flory’s donation will be used if legal counsel is required for this writer, Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D. and iPredator Inc. Most important and valuable to this writer is that the Flory’s donation will be used for internet safety and cyber attack prevention education information. At the time of authoring this post, it is October 2014 and National Bullying Prevention Month here in the United States. The amount of educational information this writer and other iPredator Inc. associates hope to publish is enormous. This writer would like to say one thing and one thing only to Flory’s.

Grazie per il tuo aiuto Mr. Flory!

Donna Garner: A career educator and author known to so many, taught in Texas classrooms for 33+ years, and was appointed by President Reagan and re-appointed by President George H. Bush to the National Commission on Migrant Education. She also served on the English/Language Arts/Reading writing team for the state of Texas when the curriculum standards were developed in 1995-97. She then became the lead writer of the Texas Alternative Document for ELAR and years later worked unsolicited to help develop the new ELAR standards for Texas. Those so needed standards were adopted in May 2008.

Further, Ms. Garner was the writer/researcher for Scott & White Worth and served as the writer/consultant for an online tutorial to teach eager learners, English proficiency. In the last few years, as a writer, researcher, and publisher of articles covering political, social, and education issues, she has kept the public informed — never wavering from the “bottom line,” better said, “telling people the truth!” When making decisions for the children and youth of our nation, Donna’s work and her tenacity have set the road straight!

In the midst of her activities, Donna Garner has tried not to neglect her family; and she and her husband celebrated their 50th anniversary this last summer. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law and five grandchildren (freshman in college through third grader).

Her passion, so stated, “is to make sure that this and future generations appreciate and uphold the American dream so that all of the children and youth of America will have the opportunity to be successful.” Her dedication has made a difference! Indeed, a true Upton winner!

Antoinette Tuff is a person and only the person upstairs knows how many student’s lives that she has saved. Confronted with some person who snuck into her school with a weapon, she calmly defused the situation, and saved many lives of many students and teachers. Often it is not the big policy analysts that should be recognized, not the book authors but the people on the front lines of education who today put their lives on the line every day that they enter a school or classroom. Antoinette is a “ bookkeeper “ or “clerk“ in a Decatur, Georgia school that talked rationally to an alleged gunman and convinced this person to surrender to the police. More details can be found on the Internet regarding this wonderful person, who certainly would have given her life for the students in her school.

Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D. is a New York State licensed psychologist and forensic psychology consultant. He completed his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in 1994 from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. In 1997, Dr. Nuccitelli became a licensed psychologist in New York State. In 2006, he received the Certified Forensic Consultant designation from the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. As author of the theoretical construct, iPredator, Dr. Nuccitelli is a cyberbullying, cyberstalking, online sexual predation, internet safety and Cyber Criminal Psychology educator & investigator. These are issues facing the children and youth of America and are beyond widespread; schools all across America could benefit from his programs and consistent  research.

In September 2011, Dr. Nuccitelli established iPredator Inc. offering the private & public sectors educational and advisory services regarding internet predators, cybercrime & the cybercriminal mind. In June 2013, Dr. Nuccitelli and iPredator officially launched their internet safety website, iPredator, providing an incredible amount of information, education and advisory services on internet safety, dangers of the internet and his iPredator. Concurrent with the website, Dr. Nuccitelli also regularly updates their Forensic & Cyber Criminal Psychology blog, Dark Psychology and internet safety blog, Dr. Internet Safety.

Dr. Nuccitelli became interested in the psychology and profiling of those who use Information and Communications Technology [ICT] to abuse, steal, taunt and victimize others online in 2009. In 2012, Dr. Nuccitelli and his colleagues grew even more determined to develop victimization prevention & intervention strategies for vulnerable online users. At the center of iPredator’s products, services and corporate mission is Dr. Nuccitelli’s two theoretical constructs, iPredator & Dark Psychology. Since 2009, Dr. Nuccitelli has dedicated himself to learning the psychological composition of those engaged in nefarious, deceptive & malevolent online activities in an effort to help solve these dangerous issues and a worldwide tragedy.

Dr. Valerie Hill-Jackson: As a winning 2013 Fulbright scholar hosted by the Center for Critical and Cultural Theory at the School of English Communication and Philosophy at Cardiff University, Dr. Hill- Jackson, is a worthy Upton Sinclair winner. Upton would have loved this story, reminding so many that were loved and were lost decades later, and of the many sacrifices had gone unnoticed.

Fulbright scholars are recipients of a highly competitive, merit-based grant for international educational exchange. The Fulbright award was founded by United States Senator J. William Fulbright in 1946 as a means to facilitate intercultural understanding around the world. Dr. Hill-Jackson is a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas A&M University. Hill-Jackson is a tireless champion of students from marginalized communities and uses her stories about teaching in Camden, N.J. and community endeavors to rally future teachers to focus pedagogy on the voiceless. She is a nationally and university recognized educator having garnered: 2002 AERA/Spencer Award; 2007 Maybelline / People Magazine Women Who Empower Through Education Award; the 2008 Texas A&M University (TAMU) Association of Former Students Award for Distinguished Teaching; 2008 Transfer Camp Namesake; 2010 Student Lead Award for Teaching Excellence (SLATE) at TAMU; 2010 Outstanding Panhellenic Professor; and 2011 National Society of Collegiate Scholars Inspire Integrity Top 10 Finalist award. All of Hill-Jackson’s experiences are uniquely tethered to the advancement of educational justice.

As a scholar of critical teacher education and community studies at Texas A&M University, and knowing the blind-spots of history, she decided it was no longer acceptable for the stories of 70-plus war brides of color to go unheard so she applied for and won a Fulbright scholarship so that she could return and properly research the subject. Tiger Brides: Memories of Love and War from the G.I. Brides of Tiger Bay (in Cardiff, Wales) is the result of several months of interviewing Tiger Bay residents, G.I. brides and their children, local historians, World War 11 experts and anyone else who could help her to piece together the story of wartime black G.I.s and their brides.

The ground breaking documentary “Tiger Brides” was created, narrated, co-produced and co-directed by Dr. Hill-Jackson. It was filmed and co-directed by Anthony and Simon Campbell, of 15th Floor Productions, who were born and raised in Tiger Bay. The inaugural U.S. screening of the documentary will be held in Houston February 2014. Hill-Jackson adds, “the documentary is another example of the lost perspectives of the voiceless. My job as a critical educator is not over until the stories of the under-represented are a part of the national war bride narrative. In this way, history is honored and I can walk the talk for future teachers.”

As a final for the Upton Sinclair recognition is the Houston ISD senior class winners of 186 million dollars in scholarships in 2013! We are grateful for the leadership teams and the great teachers who work with the student winners! The American Dream is alive and well!

Dr. Internet Safety: Dr. Internet Safety (aka, Doc iSafety) is an abstract pediatric internet safety character that educates tweens, teens and primary caregivers about cyberbullying, cyber harassment, cyberstalking, online sexual predation, cyber security, the dark side of cyberspace, internet addiction and developmentally appropriate iPredator concepts. Dr. Internet Safety is Developmental Psychology and adolescent maturation savvy in relationship to Information Age tweens and teens.

Dr. Internet Safety accepts and communicates to children supporting their perceptual distortion of viewing themselves as being more technology, social media and cyber safety skilled than their adult counterparts. From a societal standpoint, Dr. Internet Safety seeks to make all K-12 educational systems include internet safety classes compulsory for all American school districts. Furthermore, Dr. Internet Safety has graduate level experience in iPredator profiling, online deception, internet addiction and iPredator Inc.’s Information Age Education concept of humility, prevention education and non-denominational family values as being vital to children of the Information Age. Cyber Attack Construct Recognized

Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D.

dr.-internet-safety-michael-nuccitelli-psy.d.-ipredator-ipredator-inc.-new-york-internet-safety

Cyber attack prevention is addressed by Delia Stafford, president of the Haberman Educational Foundation, who interviews the author of a new Information Age forensics construct called iPredator. Michael Nuccitelli, Psy.D. is a NYS licensed psychologist, forensic psychology consultant and author of iPredator recognized by the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute, law enforcement agencies, information security professionals and a growing number of educational professionals.

It does not require a plethora of statistics, articles or research to confirm that Information Age humanity is becoming enveloped by information technology. The Information Age represents the evolution, emergence, consumption of and reliance upon Information and Communications Technology (ICT). In a mere four decades, the importance of ICT has led many to surmise that the planet and its human inhabitants are amidst an Information Revolution. Mobile device technology, telecommunications, social media and cyberspace are just a few examples of humanities newest forms of communication.

Welcome to the Information Age

The Information Revolution marks another major turning point in history, following the Industrial Revolution and changing every aspect of daily life unlike ever before. Smartphones, mobile devices and social media are the latest in a succession of advancements growing at a feverish pace. It is often hard to fathom that the Internet, used by two billion plus people globally and rapidly growing, celebrated its 20th birthday in 2011.

As information technology continues to expand at a feverish pace, coupled with seemingly daily introductions of new technology, ever-increasing obstacles challenge students, educators and all humanity. Another challenge, that includes the dark side of humanity, is the usage of ICT and cyberspace to harm others inflicting psychological, physical and/or societal damage. Terms such as cyberbullying, cyberstalking, cybercrime and online sexual predation are arenas causing harm to children, parents and all online users.

Education News Interview

To enlighten Education News readers, Delia Stafford, president of the Haberman Educational Foundation, offers her transcribed interview with the author of a new Information Age forensics construct called iPredator. Michael Nuccitelli Psy.D. is a NYS licensed psychologist, forensic psychology consultant and author of iPredator. Recognized by the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute, law enforcement agencies, information security professionals and a growing number of educational professionals, Dr. Nuccitelli and iPredator Inc.’s mission is to slow the rapidly growing rates of online victimization and theft.

  • Delia: Good Morning Dr. Nuccitelli and Thank You for helping to enlighten the readers of Education News. Could you tell me about your construct and what the definition of iPredator is?
  • Dr. Nuccitelli: Certainly Delia and here for Education News readers is my recently updated definition of iPredator. It is as follows:

What is iPredator?

iPredator: iPredator is a person, group or nation who, directly or indirectly, engages in exploitation, victimization, coercion, stalking, theft or disparagement of others using Information and Communications Technology (ICT). iPredators are driven by deviant fantasies, desires for power and control, retribution, religious fanaticism, political reprisal, psychiatric illness, perceptual distortions, peer acceptance or personal and financial gain. iPredators can be any age or gender and are not bound by economic status, race, religion or national heritage.

iPredator Tenet: ODDOR (Offline Distress Dictates Online Response)

iPredator is a global term used to distinguish anyone who engages in criminal, coercive, deviant or abusive behaviors using ICT. Central to the construct is the premise that Information Age criminals, deviants and the violently disturbed are psychopathological classifications new to humanity. Whether the offender is a cyberbully, cyberstalker, cyber harasser, cyber criminal, online sexual predator, cyber terrorist or engaged in internet defamation or nefarious cyber deception, they fall within the scope of iPredator. The three criteria used to define an iPredator include:

I. A self-awareness of causing harm to others, directly or indirectly, using ICT. II. The usage of ICT to obtain, tamper with, exchange and deliver harmful information. III. A general understanding of Cyberstealth used to engage in criminal or deviant activities or to profile, identify, locate, stalk and engage a target.

Dark Side of Cyberspace

Unlike human predators prior to the Information Age, iPredators rely on the multitude of benefits offered by Information and Communications Technology (ICT). These assistances include exchange of information over long distances, rapidity of information exchanged and the seemingly infinite access to data available. Malevolent in intent, iPredators rely on their capacity to deceive others using ICT in the abstract and artificial electronic universe known as cyberspace. Therefore, as the internet naturally offers all ICT users anonymity, if they decide, iPredators actively design online profiles and diversionary tactics to remain undetected and untraceable.

Cyberstealth

Cyberstealth, a sub-tenet of iPredator, is a covert method by which iPredators attempt to establish and sustain complete anonymity while they engage in ICT activities planning their next assault, investigating innovative surveillance technologies or researching the social profiles of their next target. Concurrent with the concept of Cyberstealth is iPredator Victim Intuition (IVI). An iPredator’s IVI is their aptitude to sense a target’s ODDOR (Offline Distress Dictates Online Response), online & offline vulnerabilities, psychological weaknesses, technological limitations, increasing their success of a cyber attack with minimal ramifications.

iPredator Transcribed Interview

  • Delia: So doctor, what are the greatest concerns for educators as we start the school year and approach 2014?
  • Dr. Nuccitelli: That’s a big question and I wish I could simply answer “Anything Tech-Centric.” The unfortunate reality is that cyberbullying, cyber harassment, cyberstalking, cybercrime and online sexual predation are areas causing harm to children, parents, educators and all online users. Throw in “sexting” and the new concerns about internet addiction and now we have a country dealing with the sharp end of the proverbial “double-edged sword”. Not to sound alarmist and I hope I’m wrong, but “student on student abuse” and “student on teacher abuse” are dynamics not in the too distant future for your Education News readers. Not just teachers and educational systems, but all institutions and professionals deemed, authority by minors, must be prepared.

Internet Safety is Vital

  • Delia:  Do you have any final comments helpful to Education News readers?
  • Dr. Nuccitelli: lol…I could be a consultant to Education News, conducting cyber attack prevention webinars for their readers, regularly authoring articles/blog posts and actively advising school officials and that still would not reduce a student, teacher or educational system’s probability of being targeted by iPredators. Educators and educational systems, like all Americans, must wake up to the reality of three issues I have concluded are a priori.

Triad of Information Age Issues

  • I. We live in the Information Age.
  • II. Children, their parents and all online users are rapidly becoming enveloped by information technology.
  • III. Mobile device technology, social media and the “Dark Side of Cyberspace” are here to stay. Stopping the rapid growth of online victimization starts with the understanding that it is no longer categorized, in our minds, as a social issue in the distant future. It is here now and educators must learn about the pitfalls. Not just for their students, but for themselves, their colleagues and loved ones as well.
  • Delia: Thank you Dr. Nuccitelli and I’m sure your information will motivate teachers and school systems to contact iPredator Inc. If Education News readers want to visit your internet safety website or contact you for consultation or student/teacher training, could you provide your contact information?
  • Dr. Nuccitelli: Of course Delia and please give my thanks to the folks at Education News. All the information at www.iPredator.co (no “m” after .co) is cost free, does not require having to sign up using personal information or an email address. If there is information of interest, simply go to the base of any web page and click on the green pdf/print button. For educators and school systems interested in comprehensive diagnostic and educational tools, I’ve authored 26 Internet Safety checklists and inventories, (IISC and IPI Collection) that can be purchased in both full and abridged versions (IISC-ABR Collection). And although some may view me as being old fashioned, anyone can call me directly, here in New York, at 347-871-2416 or via email at drnucc@ipredatorinc.com.
